Revive Veterinary Care is an independently owned veterinary hospital located at 718 El Camino Real in San Carlos, California. We serve dog and cat families across San Carlos, Belmont, Redwood City, San Mateo, and the wider Peninsula, providing preventive care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and same-day urgent visits.
The practice is led by Dr. Mukul Padalkar, who is board certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Canine and Feline Practice. That depth shapes how we work: we practice a spectrum of care, which means we build treatment plans around your pet’s condition and your own goals rather than around a single protocol. Because we answer to our own clients instead of a corporate owner, we can take the time a complicated case actually needs.
Revive Veterinary Care treats dogs and cats and is open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 8 PM. We are closed on Sunday. Same-day urgent appointments are available every day the clinic is open.

Call us right away on (650) 750-0777 during our hours of Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 8 PM. Our team triages urgent cases by clinical need and will tell you what to do on your way in. Describing the symptoms over the phone lets us prepare before you arrive, which matters more than you might expect.
Are you open late on weekdays and on Saturdays?
Yes. We are open until 8 PM Monday through Saturday, including Saturday evenings. We are closed on Sunday. The late close means you can bring your pet in after work or after school without taking a day off.
Do you see pet owners from Belmont and Redwood City?
Yes. We see dogs and cats from Belmont, Redwood City, Redwood Shores, Emerald Hills, San Mateo, Foster City, Menlo Park, and Woodside, along with San Carlos itself. We are on El Camino Real with parking on site.
Are you accepting new clients?
Yes, we are accepting new dog and cat patients. Request a visit through our appointment form or call (650) 750-0777. New client appointments run a little longer than routine visits, because a full history takes time to take properly.
Do you accept pet insurance?
Payment is due at the time of service and we provide a fully itemized invoice you can submit to any pet insurance provider for reimbursement. We do not currently offer direct billing to insurers.
What animals do you treat?
We treat dogs and cats only. Focusing on two species lets us go deeper on both rather than spreading across many, which is part of why our lead veterinarian holds board certification in canine and feline practice.
Do you offer payment plans?
We accept CareCredit, which lets you spread the cost of care over time through a third-party provider. We also accept cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. If cost is a concern, say so early and we will build a plan around what is workable.
Same-Day Urgent Care in San Carlos
Some problems cannot wait for next week. When your dog or cat is suddenly unwell, limping, vomiting, struggling with a wound, or simply not themselves, call us and we will find room for you the same day wherever we can.

A phone call lets our team hear what is happening, tell you what to watch for on the way in, and have the right equipment and people ready when you arrive. Urgent cases are triaged by clinical need, so the sickest patient is always seen first.
